Who Needs Batch Watermarking?

Adding watermarks to video is essential in many professional workflows:

  • Stock Footage Creators — Protect preview clips with a visible watermark before uploading to stock footage marketplaces.
  • Corporate & Training Videos — Brand internal training materials, product demos, and promotional videos with your company logo.
  • Content Creators & Influencers — Add your channel name or logo to every video to build brand recognition and discourage unauthorized re-uploads.
  • Real Estate & Photography — Watermark property walkthrough videos and client preview reels before final delivery.

Two Watermark Modes

VideoRecompress Studio supports two types of watermarks:

  • Text Watermark — Overlay custom text such as your company name, copyright notice, or date stamp directly onto the video.
  • Image / Logo Watermark — Overlay a PNG or JPEG image — typically your logo — with full transparency support for PNG files.

Key Settings

Fine-tune your watermark placement and appearance:

  • 9 Screen Positions — Place the watermark in any corner, along any edge, or centered on the video. Choose from top-left, top-center, top-right, middle-left, center, middle-right, bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right.
  • Opacity Control — Adjust the watermark transparency from fully opaque to nearly invisible. A subtle watermark protects content without distracting the viewer.
  • Scale Control — Resize the watermark relative to the video dimensions. Scale it up for prominent branding or down for discreet protection.

CLI Usage

Automate watermarking from the command line or scripts. Example:
